How long is my version of windows supported?  This is a question we get asked alot and there seems to be a bit of confusion.  Also, since there has been a speed up in releasing new Operating Systems it has even further confused things.  Here is a direct link from Microsoft giving you a breakdown of the lifecycle for each operating system(hint:extended support is the date to look for). – Click here  The bottom line is if you are running Windows 7 and have heard that you need to upgrade to Windows 10…you have some time and I wouldn’t recommend rushing into upgrading to Windows 10.  A good rule when it comes to upgrading an operating system is wait 6 months after to official release so they can work out the “bugs”.
